Dimensions: 5 x 4.5 x 17 inches circumference
Material: Natural Amethyst Geode
Finish: Raw Amethyst crystal cave with polished rim on custom carved wood stand
Origin: Brazil
Peer into this crystal cave and be pulled into a deep violet hollow, glittering and rich, nestled on a carved wood stand that tilts it just enough to catch the light.
This geode started as a gas bubble in cooling Brazilian lava. Silica-rich fluids slowly filled the pocket, growing crystal points inward from the walls, and traces of iron gave them their purple. The darkest, richest tones pool toward the back of the cavity, and no other geode will ever match this one.
Amethyst is believed to influence calm and clear thinking, and a cave like this makes an easy anchor for a quiet moment. Many people set one where they meditate, journal, or unwind at the end of the day, letting their eyes settle into the glittering depths and allowing their thoughts to slow. At nearly 8 pounds, it has real presence on a shelf, altar, or desk.
Amethyst rates 7 on the Mohs scale and is durable for display. Dust gently with a soft dry brush or cloth, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade the color over time.
A little cave of violet crystal to come home to.
